CURRICULAR OVERVIEW TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT OF
AQUACULTURE STUDY PROGRAM (TMA SP)
Educational Programme
Technology and Management of Aquaculture (TMA) SP is an undergraduate programme under the Department of Aquaculture IPB (Institut Pertanian Bogor)University, which also develops post graduate programmes (Master and Doctoraldegrees) of Aquaculture Science. The scope of research, science and technologydeveloped in the Department of Aquaculture including:
a) Production Engineeringand Management Aquaculture,
b). Fish Reproduction and Genetics,
c) Fish Nutrition,
d) Fish Health,
e) Aquaculture Environment.
The curriculum applied by
TMA SP was developed based on graduate competences and programme specification (derived from Indonesian Qualification Framework/IQF level 6 stated in National Higher Education Standard), in line with the university and faculty vision, mission and stakeholders needs. In order to achieve programmes goal in terms of producing competent graduates, quality control systems are implemented in all level of academic processes.
The SP-TMA was first nationally accredited by National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT) in 2002 with excellent predicate (A Level). The same predicate was received consistently for every 4 year of reaccreditation until the last assesment (in 2014, as well as in 2018). The BAN PT accreditation will be valid from 2018 until 2022. SP-TMA was firstly internationally certified at 3rd May 2013
by AUN-QA.
